Q: Is any part of the bond for downtown development?
A: None of the bond monies will be spent on anything related to downtown redevelopment.
Q: Why are we not spending this amount of money on our (schools, to avoid layoffs, etc)?
A: Funding for our schools comes from the County’s budget. If voters turn down the bond request, City Council will review and consider the City’s other needs and priorities in order to use the funds in ways that best benefit the City has a whole.
